ABOUT LINA

Lina Nicander is a passionate traveller with a great interest in languages, culture, nature and history. She has a great love for photography and sharing knowledge, experiences and stories. In 2011, she made her first trip of many trips to Sri Lanka. It was the beginning of a lifelong love affair. In 2016 she and her young family moved to Colombo to gain a deeper understanding of the island. Explore the beauty of Sri Lanka – Heritage, culture and nature is her debut book, inspired by her time on the island.

Lina is the founder and co-partner of a successful advertising, marketing and communications agency in Malmö, Sweden. She and her family continue to divide their time between Sri Lanka and Sweden.
